Standard versus premium covers on a Marvel NFT comics watchlist
A Marvel NFT comic on Veve can exist as a still cover and as a motion or premium treatment of the same story. In group chats those objects share a nickname. On a watchlist they must not share a row. The moment you merge them, every later chatter remark becomes unusable because nobody can tell which file people meant.
Our variant notes copy the cover language from the listing, then stop. We do not grade the art. We do not say a foil-style treatment is “the real key.” We only preserve the fact that Veve presented more than one object.
If you are aligning a personal spreadsheet, put cover type in its own column before mint number. Mint number without cover type is how two friends both think they own “issue one” and then discover they do not own the same thing.
